Qatari Emir Sheikh Hamad bin Khalifa Al-Thani has reiterated the commitment of his country to provide uninterrupted and required Gas world-wide. In an address, read on his behalf by Sheikh Abdullah bin Khalifa Al-Thani, the Qatari Premier, at the inaugural ceremony of the first international conference for petroleum technologies here today, Sheikh Hamad noted that Qatar would provide the world market with one third of its Gas demand by 2010. Sheikh Hamad pointed out that his country will expand its oil reserves and increase the productive capacity in a manner that enables it meet the growing world demand for crude oil.
