A flood on Saturday trapped 14 miners in a coal mine in a northern Chinese city where an accident at another mine this month killed 33 people, safety officials said. The flood occurred at about 5 a.m. (2100 GMT Friday) in the Yuanda Coal Mine in Neiqiu County, party of the city of Xingtai in Hebei province, the official Xinhua News Agency said, citing the local industrial safety bureau. A cave-in on Nov. 6 at a gypsum mine in Xingtai killed 33 people.
