Weah protesters also marched to the U.S. embassy in Monrovia on Monday to deliver a petition calling for an impartial probe into what they said were widespread irregularities in the Nov. 8 run-off poll.
"Government will not under any circumstances accept a situation where some citizens decide to hold the rest of the country hostage because they do not agree with a particular issue or course of action," Bryant said.
