US Energy Secretary Sam Bodman arrived in Kuwait yesterday, his second stop on a tour of Gulf members of the Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC). During his two-day visit Bodman is expected to hold talks with Kuwaiti Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Al Ahmed Al-Sabah and Energy Minister Sheikh Ahmed Fahed Al-Sabah, who is currently OPEC president, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported. Talks are expected to focus on how Kuwait might help as a producer nation to maintain reasonable global crude market prices, KUNA said. Kuwait will host the next OPEC meeting on Dec. 12, and talks are also expected to cover that organization's policy.
