Suspected Taliban rebels killed five policemen in a battle near Afghanistan's southern border with Pakistan, the latest in a spate of deadly attacks on the fledgling security force, an official said Wednesday. The militants ambushed the police late Tuesday as they were driving in mountains in Helmand province's Dishu district, the Associated Press quoted Ghulam Muhiddin, the provincial administrator as saying.
