The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz received at Al-Safa palace here today the annual report on King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue and its achievements since its establishment. The Monarch received the report during his audience with Chairman of Presiding Committee of King Abdulaziz Center for National Dialogue Sheikh Salih bin Abdulrahman Al-Hussein and Committee's members: Dr. Abdullah bin Omar Nassif; Dr. Rashid Al-Rajih Al-Sharif; Minister of Education Dr. Abdullah bin Salih Al-Obaid and Center's Secretary General Faisal bin Abdulrahman bin Muammar. The Monarch listened to a summary of the Center's achievements during the previous period through the holding of four national and intellectual dialogues with more than 1600 participants along with the tours of all regions in the Kingdom. The King was also briefed on the Center's missions in accordance with its strategic plan in the next five years. Addressing the audience, King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz reaffirmed the adherence to the Islamic religion and the enhancement of national unity, noting that any fruitful dialogue should be based on these two major pillars and should strengthen commitment to them. --More 2301 Local Time 2001 GMT
