Prince Turki Al-Faisal, the former Saudi ambassador to the United Kingdom and Ireland and the Saudi ambassador designate to the US, and Basel Alghalayeeni, the Executive President of BMG group, announced naming the annual Gulf Cup Polo Championship after the late Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz. The naming of the championship after the late king reflects recognition of the great deeds carried out by the late king in various countries of the world. The announcement came during a meeting in London today between Prince Turki and the Executive President of BMG group which organizes this charitable Polo Championship in the United Kingdom.
