The Eastern Petrochemical Company (SHARQ), an affiliate of SABIC has recently signed three contracts with two British companies and a German company for the implementation of the expansion of its complex in the Industrial City of Jubail. On behalf of Sharq , the contracts were singed by Chairman of its Board of Directors Dr. Abdulaziz Al-Jarboo. Sharq established in 1981 is a joint venture between SABIC and a group of Japanese companies. Following the implementation of the expansion project, the annual productive capacity of Sharq is expected to exceed five million metric of ethylene, poly ethylene and glycol ethylene.
