Pakistan's Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz has invited investors from Qatar to invest in real estate, construction, power generation besides helping it to meet its growing energy requirements, according to an official statement. The premier was talking to Qatar's new ambassador to Pakistan Hamad Ali Al-Hinzab who called on him yesterday. Aziz said Pakistan's rapidly growing economy provides excellent opportunities to investors. Qatar has made major investments in Pakistan and more would be welcome, he added. The prime minister said Qatar can also play an important role in meeting Pakistan's energy requirements especially in natural and liquefied natural gas. Aziz said Qatar and Pakistan enjoy close historic, religious, cultural and economic relations. A large number of Pakistanis are working in Qatar he said and added that it desires to send more Pakistanis. The prime minister said that there was an understanding and unanimity of views between the two countries on a host of issues both on regional and global levels. The Qatar Ambassador extended an invitation to the prime minister to visit Qatar which he accepted.
