The Saudi Islamic Academy in Washington D. C. has celebrated the 75th anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia which falls on Friday September 23. Male and female students of the academy performed magnificent folk dances representing all cultural regions of the Kingdom. The Director General of SIA Dr. Abdullah bin Ibrahim Alshabnan conveyed congratulations on this occasion to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier, Minster of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General and the Saudi people. He said this day is a remembrance of noble values on which the Kingdom was based since its unification by late King Abdulaziz. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency following the event last night, he said the 75th anniversary witnessed a comprehensive development in all fields in the Kingdom, citing the academy in Washington D. C. as a prominent achievement of education in Saudi Arabia.
