Euro zone assets brace for falls after German vote 2 LONDON

especially after a definitive election victory last week by Japan's reformist Prime Minister, Junichiro Koizumi.
The euro has had a torrid time against the yen so far in September, dropping to a low of 134.5 yen last week after starting the month above 137 yen and sitting at highs near 139 yen in August.
