A blast that tore through the home of a Gaza family active in the Hamas group, killing four people, was caused by explosives that went off accidentally, the Palestinian Authority said on Tuesday. "According to our investigation and eyewitness accounts, what happened in Shajaiya was an internal explosion resulting from a fire in a house due to an error during the making of explosives," said Interior Ministry spokesman Tawfiq Abu Khoussa. "This tragic incident sets off alarm bells and reminds us of the imminent danger that threatens Palestinian citizens as a result of the misuse of arms," it said in a statement circulated by Reuters.
