Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received a message from U.S. President George W. Bush. The message was delivered to the monarch by U.S. President Assistant for Internal Security Affairs and Terrorism Combating Francis Townsid during an audience with the king at his palace in Jeddah today. During the meeting, the U.S. senior official conveyed to King Abdullah the greetings of President Bush. On his part, the monarch sent his greetings to the president. In his own name and on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, King Abdullah offered his sympathy for the victims of hurricane Katrina, affirming the support of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for the U.S. and American people in facing this disaster. The audience was attended by Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Interior for Security Affairs, and U.S. embassy officials.
