Secretary General of the Muslim World League (MWL) Dr Abdullah Bin Abdul-Mohsin Al-Turki received here today his counterpart in the League of Islamic Universities Dr. Jafar Abdulsalam and a number of rectors of Islamic universities and academicians. During the meeting, they reviewed the current efforts of the League of Islamic Universities including means of correcting the image of Islam, refuting its links with terrorism in International conferences and symposiums held in capitals world-wide. Dr. Abdul-Salam spoke on his League's future projects, in particular the dialogue between civilizations as an effective way to make Islam well-known to western people and highlight to them missions of Islamic cultural institutions from its correct perspectives. The joint work of Islamic Organizations and Universities will sustain in inculcating the spirit and true meanings of the Islamic unity called by the Custodian of Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah Bin Abdul-Aziz, Dr. Abdul-Salam said. On his part, Dr. Al-Turki stressed the significance of coordination and cooperation among all Islamic Establishments and Universities in the Muslim world notably in implementing projects that enhance cooperation and understanding between Muslims.
