Russia on Saturday postponed by a day the launch of a Soyuz-FG booster rocket to carry a U.S. satellite into space for technical reasons, dpa quoted Itar-Tass agency as reporting. The agency cited sources at the Baikonur space site as saying the new launch date is set for Sunday, the with Soyuz to carry the U.S. telecommunications satellite Galaxy-14 into orbit. It is yet a further delay in the project after the Galaxy was initially scheduled to be launched into space on August 6. The first postponement resulted from a technical problem that arose in the tail of the rocket during the assembly of its stages, Itar-Tass said. --SP 1545 Local Time 1245 GMT
