The Tourism Department in Hail Region, an affiliate of Supreme Commission for Tourism, has called on citizens and tourists to observe Perseid Meteor Showers at 8.00 p.m. on Friday for nearly three hours. A number ranging between 40 to 60 meteors can be seen per hour. On its part, the International Meteor Organization called for organizing workshops to observe the meteor showers which annually occur in August.
