Solana expresses sadness over King Fahd's death

EU foreign policy chief Javier Solana has expressed sorrow and grief over the death of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques late King Fahd bin Abdulaziz.
In a cable sent to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud, he expressed his deepest condolences to the people of the Kingdom for King Fahd's death.
Solana said King Fahd was a man of vision, and he has played a great role in strengthening the Saudi-European ties.
