Top Russian general to head to U.S. for talks on missile defense

Russia's top general was scheduled to head
to Washington Sunday for talks with U.S. military officials, news agencies said.
Gen. Yuri Baluyevsky, chief of Russia's general staff, was
expected to meet Pentagon officials for discussions on
missile defense cooperation and the fight against
terrorism, ITAR-Tass reported.
During the six-day visit, Baluyevsky was also expected to
visit several defense installations, Interfax said.
