Two astronauts floated out of shuttle Discovery's airlock Saturday for the mission's first space walk to test repair techniques developed in the wake of the Columbia tragedy more than two years ago. "What a view," said Soichi Noguchi as he emerged from the airlock. He and Stephen Robinson were headed to Discovery's open cargo bay where they would work side-by-side during a portion of the 6½-hour space walk. They would use a variety of damaged tile and carbon samples they brought with them to space to test the repair methods, The Associated Press reported.
