The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has directed to allocate SR 20 million from his own account to dig drinking water wells for citizens in some areas of the Kingdom as a permanent charity. In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency, the Minister of Water and Electricity Eng. Abdullah bin Abdulrahman Al-Hussain said that this kind and noble gesture is an extension to the monarch's great attention to the water sector in the Kingdom, noting that King Fahd has previously financed a number of charitable drinking water projects.
