Bus falls into mountain gorge killing 21 people in India

A crowded bus fell into a mountain
gorge in northern India on Saturday, killing 21 people and
injuring another 24, police said.
All the injured have been hospitalized near Rishikesh in
Uttranchal Pradesh state, 270 kilometers (170 miles)
northeast of New Delhi, said Arun Kumar Tamta, a police
officer.
Police have so far recovered eight of the 21 bodies, Tamta
told The Associated Press.
