Representatives of Saudi Arabmco and China's Synobic Company and U.S. Exxon Mobil Company signed in Fujian District of China today initial agreements for Fujian Saudi Chinese Joint project and laying the foundation stone of the project. The ceremonies were attended by Ali bin Ibrahim Alnaimi, the Saudi Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources, and Governor of Fujian District and senior officials in addition to Alnaimi's accompanying delegation. Yesterday Alnaimi met with the Deputy Speaker of the People's Assembly of the Chinese District of Fujian. During the meeting, they discussed cooperation in the field of petroleum between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Peoples Republic of China, including Saudi oil supplies to China and Saudi Chinese joint oil projects in both countries.
