British Prime Minister Tony Blair on Thursday returned to the G8 summit of the world's industrial nations after a quick visit to London following the terror attacks which hit the capital, dpa reported. Earlier, Group of Eight (G8) leaders issued a strong joint condemnation of the attacks, saying terrorists would not prevail. The leaders from the United States, Britain, Germany, France, Italy, Canada, Japan and Russia, however, decided to continue with their meeting, saying stopping the talks would have signalled a victory for the terrorists. --SP 0015 Local Time 2115 GMT
