Kuwait on Thursday condemned the terrorist bomb attacks carried out on London's transit system that left at least 37 dead and hundreds injured, the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported. Kuwait's emir Sheikh Jaber al-Ahmed al-Sabah sent condolences to Queen Elizabeth II saying he condemned the attacks as "criminal blasts". He sent a similar message to Prime Minister Tony Blair. Kuwait's Crown Prince Sheikh Saad Abdullah al-Sabah also sent condolences to the queen and the prime minister. Kuwaiti Foreign Minister Sheikh Mohammad Sabah Al-Sabah, who was wrapping up a visit to the United States with Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah al-Ahmed al-Sabah, sent a message to British Foreign Minister Jack Straw expressing condolences and condemning the bombings, KUNA also reported.
