A 19-year-old Czech tourist was killed by a speedboat and another went missing in two separate accidents Sunday in the Croatian Adriatic, state-run HR Television said. The report said that 19-year-old Vanek Lukas was killed when a speedboat hit him some 200 metres off the coast near the town of Rabac on the northern Adriatic island of Rab. Police said Lukas's body was found at a depth of 15 metres, adding that the speedboat driver was responsible for the accident as he was driving too close to the coast. Also on Sunday, an 18-year-old Czech tourist went missing near the town of Makarska when he went swimming with air mattress. Police say a strong north-easterly wind pushed him too far from the coast. --SP 2312 Local Time 2012 GMT
