Investigators searched for evidence Saturday relating to a truck bombing that killed 10 Russian servicemen and left some 38 other people _ nearly half of them soldiers _ hospitalized in the southern region of Dagestan. A remote-controlled bomb was believed to have caused the Friday night blast in Dagestan's capital, Makhachkala. Police said three trucks packed with Interior Ministry troops had arrived at a bath house when the explosion occurred. Kazanfar Kurbanov, head of the regional paramedic service, said Saturday that a total of 38 people remained hospitalized, 17 of them military personnel. Seven of the wounded were in critical or serious condition, he was quoted as saying by The Associated Press.
