Lebanon's newly-elected parliament re-elected Nabih Berri, as speaker Tuesday. The parliament voted 90 in favor of Berri in a secret ballot. Another 37 lawmakers in the 128-member legislature cast blank votes. One vote went to Bassem Sabei, The Associated Press reported. After the balloting, the eldest legislator, Edmond Naim, 87, announced the result, saying: " I declare president Nabih Berri president of the parliament."
