Three rockets hit the perimeter wall of the home of the top government official in southwestern Pakistan on Sunday, wounding a guard and shattering windows at the building, an official said. Jam Mohammed Yousaf, chief minister of the southwestern Baluchistan province, and his family were in the provincial capital Quetta when the pre-dawn attack on his family home happened in Kalat, a town about 200 kilometers (125 miles) south of Quetta, said Maj. Akbar Lashari, a paramilitary official. A private guard at the home was slightly hurt by shrapnel from one of the rockets, The Associated Press quoted Lashari as saying. No one claimed responsibility and Lashari said "we are investigating who were the attackers and what message they wanted to convey."
