French and Spanish investigators smashed an international drug ring in a raid that saw the arrest of eight suspects and the confiscation of 150 kilos of cocaine, the Paris state attorney's office announced Wednesday. The drugs, with a value of 10 to 15 million euros (12.2 to 18.3 million dollars), was netted as a part of an action started in April against a ring run by the Colombian mafia in the southern French city of Toulouse, according to DPA. Among those arrested were five Spaniards, two Frenchmen and a Brazilian. Around 300,000 euros in cash was found in addition to the drugs.
