Saudi security forces killed two deviants who attacked a police officer in Makkah on June 18 after chasing them and a number of suspects have been arrested, an official source at the Ministry of Interior said. In a clarification statement, the source identified the two deviants who were killed after resisting security men as Kamal Sami Ahmed Fodeh (Saudi) and Mansour Mustafa Atiq Al-Thibiti (Saudi). The source added that the security forces seized from the two deviants weapons and ammunition including the gun used in the crime, a computer, a video camera containing previous shots of the scene, various deviating documents, electronic means, telephones and a sum of money. The source noted that Fodeh (45) traveled four times to Afghanistan starting from 1407H. and he was arrested by police in the Eastern Region in 1412H after forming a five-individual gang. They robbed five houses for citizens and residents under the threat of arms. As for Al-Thibiti (23), he stole a car in 1424H., the source pointed out.
