A high powered 32-member Thai business delegation has arrived in Pakistan for a week-long official visit, according to an official statement. Suriya Lapwisuthisin, Thailand's Deputy Commerce Minister heads the delegation, which will explore avenues for foreign investment in different sectors especially in the construction sector. The visit will help boost bilateral relations and strengthen economic ties between Pakistan and Thailand. The delegation will study the scope of expanding economic co-operation and promotion of trade and tourism besides discussing matters of mutual interest. The delegation will also visit the proposed New Murree project to examine the possibilities of further investment.
