The main U.S. envoy on the North Korea nuclear issue said Monday he hoped international disarmament talks would resume next month, after the North's leader Kim Jong Il hinted at the possibility last week. U.S. Assistant Secretary of State Christopher Hill urged the North to set a firm date to return to the six-nation nuclear talks that it has boycotted since June 2004. "We want to have a date and we hope that this will happen in July," Hill said in Seoul, according to a transcript of his comments provided by the U.S. Embassy.
