The death toll from a landslide in northern Guatemala rose to 23 including 10 children, rescue officials said Friday. Another 40 people were still reported missing. The incident occurred late Wednesday when the side of a mountain collapsed and crushed a farmer's community,burying dozens of homes and destroying several other buildings. At least 35 people were hurt in the landslide in San Antonio Senahu, in Alta Verapaz, 310 kilometres north of the capital. --SP 0039 Local Time 2139 GMT
