The Unites States, Britain and the Netherlands will hold a conference early next year on how to cut funding of terrorist organizations, the Dutch finance minister said Monday after meeting with the U.S. treasury secretary. No details were released about the venue or date of the planned conference other than that it would be held in early 2006. U.S. Treasure Secretary John Snow, who stopped in the Netherlands on a European trip, discussed methods of cutting money flows to terrorists with Dutch Finance Minister Gerrit Zalm. Zalm "is a global leader in anti-terrorism efforts and efforts to make sure the financial systems are secured against terrorist threats," Snow told reporters. He also said talks with the Dutch addressed ways to open new financial markets and spur economic growth. --SP 1525 Local Time 1225 GMT
