Chairman of Shoura Council Dr. Salih bin Abdullah bin Homaid chaired here today the council's 7th ordinary session and disclosed that the leadership of the country has approved that Prince Salman bin Abdulaziz, Governor of Riyadh Region, who is also Chairman of the Boards of Directors of King Abdulaziz Center for Archives and Researches as well as King Fahd National Library, attends the session in order to explain what is related to the Shoura Council's area of jurisdiction, particularly what concerns the reports on the performance and achievements of the two bodies. He also praised the royal decree to establish three new universities in Jazan, Hail and Al-Jouf. The Shoura Council congratulated the nation on the qualifying of the Saudi national soccer team to the world cup in Germany 2006. The council also congratulated Dr. Abdullah bin Sadiq Dahlan for being elected by the International Labor Organization as full-member representative of the Kingdom. The session was attended by Iranian delegation led by Secretary General of the Supreme Council for National Security Dr. Hassan Rouhani. --More 0004 Local Time 2104 GMT
