A U.N. peacekeeper wounded in a
gun battle with militia in violent northeastern Congo has died, a U.N. spokesman said Friday.
The Nepalese peacekeeper died from gunshot wounds Thursday
night in a hospital in Bunia, capital of Ituri province, said U.N. spokesman Carmine Camerini.
