Saudi Minister of Culture and Information Iyad bin Ameen Madani arrived here today to attend the opening ceremony of the Saudi Cultural Week to be hosted by Tunisia and co-organized by the Saudi Ministry of Culture and Information and the Saudi Embassy in Tunis in cooperation with the Tunisian Ministry of Culture and Protection of National Heritage. The several-day event is scheduled to take place in a number of Tunisian cities. Madani was received at Ghartaj International airport by the Minister of Culture and Protection of National Heritage Dr. Mohamed Aziz ben Achour, Saudi Ambassador to Tunisia Ahmed bin Ali Algahtani, and senior officials. In an arrival statement, Madani said one week is not enough to show aspects of Saudi culture but we hope that in future another chance could allow more show of the Saudi diversified culture.
