Gunmen firing from three speeding cars killed nine Iraqis Thursday in a crowded market area in Baghdad, a Defense Ministry official said. The gunmen fired randomly at shops in a bazaar in the northwestern neighborhood of Hurriyah early, Radhi Badir said. "There were no security targets there, they were all civilians," the Associated Press quoted the official as saying.
