The Shoura Council concluded in its session today discussion of reports on the performance of the Civil Aviation Presidency. In the session presided over by the council's chairman Dr. Salih bin Homaid, the council approved the speedy opening of work in the sector of air transport for national companies and encouragement of the private sector to invest in the establishment of a civil aviation college in the kingdom to train professionals in this field. Secretary General of the council Dr. Salih Almalik said the council also discussed in today's session a report on the performance of the Court of Grievances. and approved recommendations aiming at improving its work. Then, the council discussed a report on the performance of King Fahd National Library and approved recommendations aiming at enhancing its activities. The council also discussed a report on the performance of the Saudi Arabian Standards Organization and deferred voting on the report to a future session.
