The Saudi Arabian Airlines (SAA) has started operating regular cargo flights between Saudi Arabia and Chinese city of Shanghai at an average of 2-weekly flights on Saturdays and Tuesdays through MD-11 aircraft. The Assistant Director General of SAA for Services and Cargo Sales, Hatim Zare'a, clarified that Shanghai is the 2nd Chinese destination joining the network of SAA's cargo flights. He said that it has been added to satisfy the increasing demand on transporting commodities and equipments as SAA transported about 7,388, 249 Kilograms from Hong Kong last year.
