Egyptian air defense commander awarded prestigious medal

Upon order by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz, Prince Khalid bin Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Assistant Minister of Defense and Aviation and Inspector General for Military Affairs, today awarded visiting Commander of Air Defense of the Arab Republic of Egypt General Sami Hafiz Ahmed King Abdulaziz medal - excellent grade, in recognition of his role in further tightening cooperation ties between air defenses in the two countries.
The ceremony took place at Prince Khalid's office in Riyadh during a meeting between the two military senior officials.
During the meeting, matters of mutual concern were also discussed.
The meeting was attended by Egypt's military attache in Riyadh Colonel Mohammed Farraj Alshahat.
