Plane crashes in eastern Congo, 26 dead

A plane carrying 21 Congolese
passengers and five Russian and Ukranian crew members has
crashed in eastern Congo, an aviation official said
Thursday.
The plane went missing shortly after takeoff Wednesday and
was found by U.N. helicopters Wednesday night in the dense
forests near Walungu, The Associated Press quoted Raymond Sangara, coordinator of Congo's civil aviation authority as saying.
