The Arab Tourism Ministerial council concluded its 8th session at the Headquarters of the Arab League here today. The council welcomed the initiative of Investors Bank in Bahrain to establish an Arab Tourism Bank and authorized the Arab Tourism Organization to follow up the implementation of this initiative. The Council thanked the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia for a vision of the establishment of Arab Tourism Information Network prepared by Saudi Tourism Higher Authority, calling on the Kingdom to expand this vision and submit it to Arab countries. At the meeting, tourism issues of concern were discussed. The Council's next meeting will be held in June, 2006. -- SPA 2109 Local Time 1809 GMT
