The Shoura Council discussed a report on the performance of King Fahd National Library in a session held here today and presided over by vice chairman Mahmood Taibah. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency following the session, Secretary General of the council Dr. Salih Almalik said the council will continue discussion of the report in a future session. Then, the council discussed reports on the performance of the Ministry of Higher Education and Saudi universities, Dr. Almalik said adding that the council will continue discussion of the reports in future sessions. Afterward, the council approved a Saudi-Cuban cooperation agreement, Dr. Almalik said. The council also approved memorandums of understanding on bilateral political consultations between the Saudi Foreign Ministry and both the Chinese and Azerbaijani foreign ministries, Dr. Almalik said.
