Saudi Arabian Basic Industries Corporation (SABIC) has donated SR 80 million for the scheme of small-scale and medium-scale mineral activities and petrochemical-based establishments. This donation came within the framework of the existing cooperation between the Ministry of Petroleum and Mineral Resources and the companies working in the field of petrochemicals. The Centennial Fund and the National Commercial Bank (NCB) also provided a sum of SR 70 million to help this scheme, taking the total finance to SR 150 million. According to the initial survey conducted by the Saudi Arabian General Investment Authority (SAGIA), this scheme will contribute to establishment of 280 projects for citizens.
