A suicide bomber drove his explosives-packed pickup truck into a crowd of people outside a municipal council office in northern Iraq on Monday, killing five Iraqis and wounding 13, police said. The attack happened near the city council offices in Tuz Khormato, a town 55 miles (88 Kilometers) south of Kirkuk, said police commander Lt. Gen. Sarhat Qader. Qader said the attacker drove his vehicle into a group of council employees and local residents as they were lining up to enter the building at about 8:30 a.m., the start of the working day. Five Iraqis were killed and 13 injured, including Patriotic Union of Kurdistan official Mahmoud Mohammed, Qader said.
