The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Fahd bin Abdulaziz has sent a cable of congratulations to President Ali Abdullah Salih of Yemen on his country's national day anniversary, the Saudi Royal Court reported today. In his own name and on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the monarch wished the president continual health and happiness and his people steady progress and prosperity. In his cable, King Fahd also lauded the existing flourishing relations binding the Kingdom and Yemen. Similar cables of congratulations were sent to President Salih from each of Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, the Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, and Prince Sultan bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier, Minister of Defense and Aviating and Inspector General, on the same occasion.
