Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, the Secretary General of the Higher Tourism Authority, today vowed that his department would provide financial support for Saudi touristic industry in general and touristic establishments and committees in the regions to guarantee round-the-year touristic activities in particular. In a key address at the First Meeting for Touristic Establishments, Committees and Departments in the regions, held in Riyadh today, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz said the support program is considered an important mechanism adopted by the authority within the current intensified care phase. This includes the provision of financial aid by the authority to those departments to contribute to the increase of touristic flights inside the Kingdom, including weekend trips and short vacations, the process of encouraging the organizing of touristic events all through the year, the enhancement of the participation of local communities and the provision of job opportunities. -- SPA 2156 Local Time 1856 GMT
