Two suicide bombers attacked the convoy of the governor of Iraq's Diyala province on Sunday, killing three bystanders, police said. They said the governor, Raad Rashid, was not hurt in the attack, which appeared to have been well coordinated. The attack began when a suicide car bomber blew up his vehicle in the path of the governor's convoy. Police said nobody was wounded in the first blast, but a second suicide bomber ran towards the convoy on foot and detonated an explosive belt, killing three people, Reuters reported.
