Crown Prince directs earmarking SR2 billion to people's housing

Crown Prince Abdullah bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Commander of the National Guard, has directed to earmark SR2 billion of the budget's surplus to the projects of people's housing in various parts of the kingdom.
This was announced by Minister of Social Affairs Abdulmohsin bin Abdulaziz Ala'kkas in a statement to Saudi Press Agency.
The minister said the ministry is currently coordinating with regions' governorates to establish a practical mechanism for these projects and to realize benefit from what is earmarked for them of the budget's surplus.
He noted that the directive was to give the most needy regions priority in carrying out these projects.
